I Streaming a lot of films of just about every genre there is so I wouldsay I'm a good judge of a film's quality and this was supposed to be aparody of the 'Paranormal Activity' films. I would imagine it's not toodifficult to make a mediocre parody because you already have thematerial of the film/films you intend to lampoon but somehow this lotmanaged to get it wrong in every single way possible. They even coaxedEric Roberts into showing himself for a few (very few) minutes but evenhe wasn't in a very funny mood. I didn't laugh once and I managed tolaugh at a few of the gags in 'Epic Movie' so perhaps that will allowyou to put it into perspective. This is a film to avoid at all costs.

A sh*t sandwich on stale bread. I wasn't expecting much from thismovie, but still it managed to disappoint me. It was almost as tediousas the movies it was parodying. Towards the end, I had to resist thetemptation to fast forward. The writing was unoriginal and more sillythan funny. Some scenes seem to have been cut in at random, with norelation to the rest of the script. The B-list cameos served only tobriefly distract from the bad script. The only thing paranormal aboutthe movie was the notion that a guy like Farley could get a girlfriendas hot as Carly Craig. Speaking of Craig, I'm a big fan, but herperformance was so monotone that it barely qualified as acting. Sheshould have sharted all over this movie. It would have helped.

This is a spoof of all the different kind of ghost and scary sh*t weare all forced to endure now days. For what it was, Paranormal Moviewasn't horrible. Granted, I didn't expect much from this, never do fromany spoof movie, but I don't know. This spoof had everything that isrequired to be a good spoof. Well..., almost everything. For a spoof,this wasn't all that funny. It had several parts that were suppose tobe shockingly funny, but I don't know..., it just tried to hard. Foralmost every "funny," scene in this movie, I just found myself asking,"Why is this happening?" There was only 1 scene that got a genuinelaugh outta me. Overall, this movie is a waste of time. Not a goodwaste of time but not really a bad waste of time either. Lemme put itthis way, it's probably better than getting waterboarded, that'ssomething.
